Good Morning, All!

Please see below invitation from the West Virginia chapter. This is a great opportunity to get some in-person credits before the end of the year, and a very inexpensive preparation course for those who wish to become Fellows.

2024 WV ACHE Annual Meeting & ACHE BoG Exam Prep Seminar

Knowing how important it is for your members to receive ACHE continuing education, we wish to extend a warm invitation for you to attend the 2024 WV ACHE Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting will be held on December 3 at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, WV. We have an excellent program focused on some of the hottest topics facing the field: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Workplace Violence, and Workplace Wellness. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Katherine Meese, author of the book “The Human Margin.” We expect to provide 7 hours of ACHE education credits including 6 hours of ACHE Face-to-Face and 1 hour of ACHE Qualifying Education credits. General registration is only $250 and includes lunch and snacks. Students can register for only $25.

Click here to register and to learn more about our plans for the meeting.

New This Year: ACHE Board of Governors Exam Prep! Many chapter members are eligible or preparing to take the ACHE Board of Governors Exam and become a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). There is great strength and opportunity in becoming a board-certified health administrator and we want to help you on your FACHE journey. So, this year, we are also pleased to offer a one-day intensive exam prep seminar led by former ACHE Regent and retired hospital executive, Dr. Dave McClure, assisted by executives from across the state. The cost for this seminar is only $100 and includes lunch, snacks, and training materials. Plus, we expect to provide an additional 8 hours of ACHE Qualifying Education credit.

That’s a total of up to 15 hours of continuing education credit, plus meals and materials for only $350.

Please also plan to join us Monday evening, December 2, for a networking social. And please feel free to share this with friends and co-workers who would benefit from this incredible opportunity.

Lodging: For those traveling in and wanting to stay overnight, we’ve reserved a block of rooms at a special WV ACHE rate. More details can be had on the conference registration page or you can also click here to book now.

FREE VIRTUAL WEBINAR & CONTINUING EDUCATION: West Virginia University’s Master of Health Administration program is hosting their Fall Administrative Grand Rounds – Impact of the Election on Healthcare Issues – on Friday, November 15 from 12:00-1:00pm ET. In partnership with WV ACHE, 1.0 Qualifying Education credits are available to ACHE members. Please click here to register.
